What is non-destructive material testing?
When a material can be checked for defects without destroying it or changing its properties, this is called non-destructive testing, or NDT for short.

Ultrasonic testing (UT)
Is the material to be tested sound-conductive? Then ultrasonic testing is the first choice for detecting inhomogeneities and defects throughout the entire volume of a test object.
Magnetic particle testing (MT)
Magnetic particle inspection detects defects near and on the surface of ferromagnetic materials such as cast iron and steel. Our experts magnetize the test object and then use contrast agents (e.g., fluorescent, magnetizable particles) to visualize the defect. Magnetic particle inspection
Dye penetrant testing (PT)
Dye penetrant testing reveals even the smallest surface defects of metallic and other non-porous materials. It is used wherever a particularly careful and thorough approach is essential. Learn more!
Visual inspection (VT)
Material defects, inaccuracies in geometry and workmanship, or deficiencies in the quality and condition of surfaces are often visible to the naked eye. Therefore, visual inspection by experienced, certified personnel is an important first step in assessing the quality of materials. Learn more!
